Airius Cooling Fans Installation at Virgin Active Barangaroo

Virgin Active Barangaroo set out to create a new benchmark for premium fitness in Sydney, with studios designed to help members train harder and reach new goals.

A key part of that experience was getting airflow right, especially in high intensity spaces where overheating can quickly impact comfort and performance.



The Challenge

Spin and Cycle rooms are some of the most heat challenged areas in any gym, with sustained effort, high occupancy and limited fresh air movement. Virgin Active needed an airflow solution that could deliver cooling comfort evenly across the room, not just in one direction, so every rider benefited, while also fitting the look and feel of a modern, high end facility.



The Solution

Airius installed Retail Series Model R20EC fans to create controlled, multi-directional air movement throughout the Spin and Cycle studios. The system was designed to deliver targeted airflow where it was needed most, giving the team the flexibility to adjust direction and output to suit class intensity, occupancy and conditions.



The Outcome

The studios now benefit from consistent airflow that helps members feel cooler and more comfortable during demanding sessions, improving the overall training experience.
